Butautomobileshavealsogivenrisetoaseriesofproblems．Forexample，citiesareovercrowdedwithautomobiles．Theycreatealotofnoiseandtrafficaccidentswhichdisable（伤残）orkillmanypeopleeachyear．Worstofallperhapsistheairpollutioncausedbytheexhaustgasesproducedbyautomobiles．Someofthegasesarehighlytoxic（有毒的）andaserioushealthhazard．
